The Academic Program Calendar 2015

The International Technical Assistance Center is an international center for study abroad program facility to be established in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.



The ITAC offers intensive Spanish programs for a semester, summer and all year round for all Spanish levels (beginner to advanced). Classes: Mini-groups or customized private tuition; DELE Exam Preparation courses and special programs. 



Our Spanish language programs in the Dominican Republic have classes starting every Monday of the year. This means you can start to learn to speak Spanish when you like. Spanish classes at the Spanish language school can be as short as 2 – 7 weeks and can a months, semester or year.



The dates for Basic Study Abroad Program coincide with the duration of the program sponsored by the US.

•      African Heritage: 3 credits
•      Caribbean Literature: 3 credits
•      Community Service: 3-6 credits
•      Dominican Gastronomy 1-3 Credits

•      Creole 1-3 credits (Optional)
•      Frances 1-3 credits (optional)


The Program Costs Includes:

Tuition, housing, all meals, airport reception and transfers, official transcript from Host University, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, access to university libraries, admission fees to host university events, insurance, immersion activities including Dominican peer advisors, comprehensive student handbook, Full-time staff, Internet Access, Tutorial Assistance, Student Services, Visa Support,  and other travel benefits. Accommodation available: on-site residence, host family, hotels, activities intercultural exchange with the local students and Haitians.

Fall 2014 - Study Abroad in Dominican Republic

Overview
The International Technical Assistance Center is an international center for study abroad program facility to be establishing in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The ITAC offers intensive Spanish programs for a semester, summer and all year round for all Spanish levels (beginner to advanced). Classes: Mini-groups or customized private tuition; DELE Exam Preparation courses and special programs.

The goals of this program is to provide students with the opportunity to develop oral and write Spanish skills through language courses of varying levels, and to learn about the Caribbean society, economy and culture.
