The Academic Program Calendar 2015 The International Technical Assistance Center is an international center for study abroad program facility to be established in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The ITAC offers intensive Spanish programs for a semester, summer and all year round for all Spanish levels (beginner to advanced). Classes: Mini-groups or customized private tuition; DELE Exam Preparation courses and special programs.
Our Spanish language programs in the Dominican Republic have classes starting every Monday of the year. This means you can start to learn to speak Spanish when you like. Spanish classes at the Spanish language school can be as short as 2 – 7 weeks and can a months, semester or year.
The dates for Basic Study Abroad Program coincide with the duration of the program sponsored by the US.

• Caribbean Literature: 3 credits

• Dominican Gastronomy 1-3 Credits

The Program Costs Includes:
Tuition, housing, all meals, airport reception and transfers, official transcript from Host University, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, access to university libraries, admission fees to host university events, insurance, immersion activities including Dominican peer advisors, comprehensive student handbook, Full-time staff, Internet Access, Tutorial Assistance, Student Services, Visa Support, and other travel benefits. Accommodation available: on-site residence, host family, hotels, activities intercultural exchange with the local students and Haitians.
Physical activities vital to the youth. Not only are sports great for physical development, but when they are combined with developmental learning activities such as acquiring a foreign language, they become the perfect combination.
Whether practicing and enjoying our main sport, Baseball in Punta Cana, with the coaching staff of the NLB, playing basketball, or playing soccer in the
Escuela de Futbol Jorge Rolondo Bauger in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the students will experience an unforgettable summer.
For this reason the ITAC's Sports Abroad Program offers our youth the chance to enjoy a fun and educational experience while improving this proficiency in Spanish, which will be useful in secondary and post-secondary environments along practicing their favorite sport.

International Technical Assistance Center is an international center for study
abroad program established in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. ITAC
has over three decades of experience and strong relationships with the
Dominican government and Institutions of higher education.
We
boast a large network of local university contacts and a capable team that
allows for a seamless process in obtaining top-notch study programs and
its objective will be achieved through university courses, Spanish
Language, French Language, courses in Dominican and Caribbean culture,
Afro-descendants in the Caribbean, Caribbean literature, and African Heritage.,
and work with local non-profit organizations. Students
may work with local non-profits, participate
in optional developmental internships, and community and social
services which place students directly within the mainstream of Dominican
society and Haitian, among others topics in the Dominican universities.

Spanish skills through language courses of varying levels, and to learn about
the Caribbean society, economy and culture.
